Brule Snows Kids

The Kids' Center at Ski Brule provides a positive learning experience with emphasis on fun indoors and out. Ski Brule is dedicated to making your child's experience on snow fun!  Just outside the Kids' Center is Gentle Ben, the "no big people allowed" starter area. In SKIwee (skiing) and MINIride (snowboarding), children practice the basics including walking, sliding and riding the rope tow, learning these skills through fun and games. It's not unusual to see a game of Red Light/Green Light, bouncing in the Moonbounce, rides on Squirt the pony or a visit from Brule Bear. Fun is the key to getting kids interested and keeping them involved.
Programs are three hours of fun inside & out, complete with activities and hot chocolate. Minimum age: SKIwee 4 years, MINIride 7 years.
 An extension of SKIwee, Brule Bear Cubs is designed for chairlift riders that are ready to tour the mountain. Children enrolled in Brule Bear Cubs must be able to get on/off chairlift on their own without assistance, stop and turn. This is a group program that introduces children to more advanced skiing in a playful setting. A stop at Homestead Lodge is a favorite of Brule Bear Cubs for hot chocolate and cookies. Minimum age: 4 years.
Not quite ready for the slopes, but ready for Ski Brule? Then join the fun at Child Care for a morning, afternoon or full day on the slopes.

The Kids' Center is ideally located adjacent the Rental Center .
Reservations are not needed for Kids' Programs. If you would like to complete enrollment forms & rental forms ahead of time,
you can print them out from the links below. Lunch is available for an additional $7.
To make the most of the programs, be sure your child is equipped with hat, goggles or sunglasses, waterproof snow pants, winter jacket, waterproof gloves (no knit gloves please) and warm socks. A quick stop at
Bear's Den Pro Shop or the Rental Center will have your child ready for the snow.
Children enrolled in the skiing or snowboarding programs will receive a helmet during the session. If you would like to use the helmet after the program, you may rent it for $5 at check out.
Only the individuals registered as authorized person(s) to pick children up may do so. Please have identification with you.

Ski & Snowboard Instruction
Taking lessons is the best way to get started or to improve your technique. Lessons are one hour in length and Ski Brule's experienced instructors are committed to improving your enjoyment on snow. From that first day on skis, to bumps, powder and racing, let the Ski Brule expert staff show you the way. Improve your skiing or snowboarding by taking part in one of our lesson programs tailored to your current ability. Private lessons are available daily at 9:30, 10:45, 12:00, 1:15 & 2:30. Group lessons are available at 10: 45 & 1:15 on Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Holidays and during the midweek when you enroll 5 or more people into a group lesson. Semi private lessons are available at 9:30, 10:45, 12:00, 1:15, 2:30 Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Holidays and midweek when you sign up 2 or more people of similar age & ability. Reservations are recommended by calling 1-800-DO-BRULE with full payment on a Visa or MasterCard, space is limited. The Ski Brule instructional staff is committed to improving your enjoyment on snow and will have you snowboarding and skiing better than you imagined in just a short time.

Learn To Programs
Over 59,000 people have learned to ski and snowboard absolutely FREE at Ski Brule. And again this year thousands will have the same opportunity. The Family Learn to FREE programs include free lift ticket, lesson and rental to first time skiers or riders ages 10 & up. delay on my part I signed my daughter and myself up for the ski free
lessons. We had a beautiful day weather wise and a wonderful day
skiing. Everyone that taught the lessons was great. They
were very patient; with me being 40 it was a huge step to even try
this. I never thought I would be trying skiing anymore at my age but
I have to admit I had a very good time. Just wanted to say thanks
for giving our family a chance to try this to see if my daughter and
I would enjoy it. Now knowing we all enjoy it it will give one more
