It's About The Snow!
Ski
Brule will provide the best possible conditions at all times.
Ski Brule will be the first to open and the last to close.
We made this
promise over 20 years ago and continue to stand by it. As soon
as temperatures drop, the sounds of snowmaking fill the air.
Within 24 hours of ideal snowmaking, Ski Brule can cover two trails
with enough snow to open. Snowsports in October is a reality
at Ski Brule and enjoyed even as late as May! On average, Ski
Brule's snow season is six months, proving that Ski Brule is
committed to snow and the best conditions.

"Ski Brule is the
MOST OUTRAGEOUSLY AWESOME place on this planet! The snow is the
best anywhere and it's amazing how you can open before anyone else.
Thank you for being the 'first to open & last to close'... I can't tell
you how much I appreciate it!" ~ Brian, Lake Villa, IL

aged log structure remains with antique photographs and farm implements telling
stories of days gone by. The Homestead Lodge is a unique place to feast on
a grilled burger on the sunny deck and watch the skiers go by or warm up by the
antique pot belly stoves.
Our
Homestead Lodge features an all you care to eat barbecue dinner on Thursday and Saturday nights.
The dinner features an all you care to eat barbecue dinner, complete with entertainment, dancing and, of course, the family favorite Homestead Sing-A-Long. The Homestead BBQ dinner includes Ski Brule's famous pulled pork, barbecue chicken, potato, sauerkraut, salad, dessert, rolls and beverage.
A complimentary sleigh will bring you to the Homestead Lodge from the bottom of
Homestead Trail during the BBQ (5-8:00). The Homestead BBQ is a great deal too! It's $40* for a family BBQ ticket and individual BBQ tickets are $12 adults, $8 junior and $5 kids. Dinner tickets are available at Bear's Den Pro Shop, Guest Services, Lodging Office and at Homestead Lodge.
Another

"Very cool lodge hidden away on the slopes! Definitely worth a
stop - the lodge is very neat and the food is delicious! We took a
sleigh ride to the Homestead for the BBQ dinner on Saturday night.
What a cool experience! If you are looking for great skiing, a
friendly atmosphere and a unique experience, Ski Brule has it!" ~ Carly,
