  Ski Brule Snows It Best!

Ski Brule will provide the best possible conditions at all times. Ski Brule will be the first to open and the last to close. Ski Brule made this promise to snow lovers almost 20 years ago and every opportunity is taken to ensure it happens. It begins with snowmaking: As soon as temperatures drop in the fall, the Ski Brule snowmaking team fires up the snowmaking machines to be the first to open. Within 24 hours of ideal conditions, Ski Brule can cover two trails with enough snow to open them, which means snow sports early in November and even as soon as October! Throughout the season Ski Brule continues snowmaking to build a base for snow sports into late April. Ski Brule offers more snow days and the longest season in the Midwest with an average season of almost six months! Ski Brule's dedication to snow doesn't stop there because there is more to being the best at snow. It takes knowledgeable and proficient slope maintenance staff to provide the best corduroy cruisers, terrain trails, ½ pipe and parks. Ski Brule knows snow and nobody snows it better than Ski Brule!

"The staff is very friendly, and you can count on Ski Brule to open very early in the season. It's our favorite place to ski!" ~ Mark, Fredonia, WI

Ride Brule & Ride the Best!
Ride Ski Brule and ride the best 30 acres of terrain in the Midwest. Rapids and Snowshoe feature terrain cut by park designers who attended the elite training school for park groomers 'Cutters Camp'. The best in terrain grooming and design is found at Ski Brule. Jumps, rails, ¼ pipe, spines, fun box and ½ pipe plus the best free riding terrain on Timberdoodle. Pony Handle Tow gives quick access to Rapids for more time in the park.

The Rapids was one of the first terrain parks built. It includes a handle tow specifically for access to the park. In '99, Ski Brule expanded the park to include Snowshoe trail, resulting in terrain from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

Ski Brule not only has snow early and late in the season, Ski Brule also has terrain available first and longer than anyone else!

"Job well done on the fun boxes! I've been riding at Brule for 10 years and the park is awesome. It gets better every year! Thank you for your hard work cutting the park, we've been riding every moment we can!"
~ Todd, Appleton, WI

Homestead Lodge, BBQ, Homestead Tubing & Sleigh Ride

The Homestead Lodge's unique combination of warm, cozy atmosphere and smiling, friendly folk make it a popular spot for those visiting Ski Brule. The Homestead Lodge was settled in 1891 by the Oberg family and much of the original log structure remains. The Homestead Lodge is a reminder of days gone by with its genuine potbelly stoves (the only source of heat) and antique tools and farm implements that were once used to work the land the Homestead Lodge sits on. Accessible from Homestead Trail and North Forty Trail, the Homestead Lodge is an ideal place to pull up a seat on the deck, feast on a Homestead Burger grilled to perfection, and watch the slopes.

On Thursday and Saturday nights, the Homestead Lodge features an all you care to eat barbecue dinner, complete with entertainment, dancing and, of course, the family favorite Homestead Sing-A-Long. The Homestead BBQ dinner includes Ski Brule's famous pulled pork, barbecue chicken, potato, sauerkraut, salad, dessert, rolls and beverage. The Homestead BBQ is a great deal too! It's $40* for a family BBQ ticket and individual BBQ tickets are $12 adults, $8 junior and $5 kids. Dinner tickets are available at Bear's Den Pro Shop, Guest Services, Lodging Office and at Homestead Lodge. Take the free sleigh to the Homestead dinner, departing from Homestead parking (5:00-8:00).

Another "can't miss" at the BBQ is Homestead Tubing, available 5:00-8:00. An unlimited tubing pass is $4 and FREE to guests of Brule Village Lodging on Thursday nights with nightly activity pass. Homestead Tubing is traditional tubing (no tube tow) and it's suited for all ages.
